It is possible to control DELTABATCH via the DELTABATCH configurator or without any GUI as a command line tool. The command line is being used when DELTABATCH is operated on a centralized server system.
In some scenarios, the DELTABATCH conversion may process freezes.
This can happen when starting a batch script from command line, which in turn executes
rttDeltaBatch.exe with the parameter
-u, featuring a value greater than 1 in order to use that amount of cores for multiple DB processes.
Executed in conjunction with a .ini file with the conversion settings, this freeze may occur when the .ini file contains more than one conversion block. In other scenarios DELTABATCH is started via a batch script converting CAD data in several loops. In that scenario, the database my freeze as well.
Limit the number of used cores to one (
-u 1), or use DELTABATCH .ini files which contain only one conversion block when executing DELTABATCH from the command line.
The usage of the database configurator is not affected.
