The DirectMaya CSB export has a -90° X rotation assigned by default to compensate for the different up-axis. This correction was not correctly applied to exported animation files (*.WRL) so the object orientation could suddenly change when playing a timeline in DELTAGEN.
This problem has been fixed since DELTAGEN 2018x but old *.WRL files already contain wrongly exported data and can’t be used. It is necessary to export the animation with DirectMaya a second time to create working files.
As a workaround it is possible to manually apply the -90° X rotation to the animated object after loading the *.WRL file and playing the animation once.
