You can manipulate the Translation values of a Local surrounding within the Transformation tab of the Object editor window.
There are two different ways to open the Object editor:
- Dockable Object editor window: accessible via Window menu, changes dependent of Scene tree selection
- Floating Object editor dialogue: opens via double click on Scene tree object; for each Scene tree object an extra dialogue appears
Changing existing Translation values of a Local Surrounding via the floating Object editor dialogue can lead to wrong Transformation results.
As a workaround, always use the dockable Object editor window to set the Translation values of a Local surrounding.
