User credentials are not validated after a password change of the LDAP proxy user but in PictureBook Admin the functionality “Test LDAP Connection” works fine.
The problem could be related to Tomcat process not properly restarted after the LDAP proxy user password change.
Please do the following
- Stop the PictureBook Tomcat service
- Check in the Windows Task Manager if the “tomcat.exe” process has disappeared from the list of active tasks
- Once process has disappeared, restart PictureBook Tomcat service and try to log in again
